My little boy has gotten to be so big. I know everyone says that, but sheesh he's super tall and looks like such a big boy ... Especially compared to his little brother.
He started his third year of preschool a few weeks back. He's going four days a week from 9am-12:30pm. Today was his first afternoon of extended stay at school and I picked him up at 1:45pm.
Although people told me to give up on naps, claiming Mason was done with them, I kept at it. We try to implement quiet time every day so that I can have a breather and so that he can decompress. Most days he doesn't nap; but two or three days a week he does and those days make me smile ear to ear.
He loves Anderson. So much. Too much sometimes. There's lots of touching and poking and wanting to be right next to him. It's truly magic when Mason makes Anderson laugh ... And the way Anderson looks at his big brother can make anyone say "awwww."
If I had to describe Mason at this point in his childhood, it would be strong-willed, stubborn, extremely chatty, and such a clown. He seems to know exactly what he wants and when he wants it. And the questions JUST DON'T STOP. He wants to know it all and won't give up until you've answered him.
He loves super heroes, Paw Patrol (show on television), and learning about the planets.
There are days he drives me crazy from sunrise to sunset ... But I'm so thankful to have my sidekick. He's such a blessing and I can't wait to see what the next 6 months will bring.
