Beet smoothie 2.0

I think my body is fed up with only getting bread products for meals. The third trimester of my pregnancy has brought some aversions to vegetables and I've found myself eating bowl after bowl of cereal.

I was surprised when we got home from Whole Foods that I wanted a smoothie full of vegetables.




Looks pretty gnarly but I swear it was good. Hence drinking the entire thing.

Into the blender went half a beet, handful of baby kale, handful of raspberries, 1/2 banana, splash of orange juice, and 1/2 cup of water.

It was a little thicker than usual but definitely hit the spot. I love how energetic I feel after eating beets. Let's go change the world!
