September running in review

With entering my 2nd trimester of my 2nd pregnancy, I clearly have begun to slow down on the running front (pun intended).  I haven't been logging as many miles and my pace is quite slower than it once was.  I'm ok with that and have readjusted my running goals for the rest of the year.  Knowing I won't hit the 1,000 mile mark by the end of 2014, I am now focused on just getting outside and keeping myself active, even if it's just a 2 mile run/walk.

68.87 total miles
total runs - 22
average miles ran each time - 3.13 miles
fastest pace - 9/27 South End Shuffle 5k (3.1 miles) 8:10 min/mi
slowest pace - 9/29 2.05 miles on treadmill at YMCA 11:13 min/mi
shortest run -  2.05 miles on 9/16 and 9/29
longest run - 6.2 miles on 9/13
# of races - 2
I was fortunate to run in 2 (free) races in September ... Hit the Brixx 10k and South End Shuffle 5k.  I even managed to place 2nd in my age group during the inaugural South End Shuffle!
As of the end of September, I have run 740.01 total miles.  I would have to run 86 miles in October, November, and December to hit 1,000 miles which clearly will not happen.  I'm looking to run at least 50-60 miles during the next 3 months.  So far no races have been scheduled but I am not one to turn down a free race entry ;)
