These are two things that I have recently used to make our lives a little more tolerable. And no, these definitely do not get me an award for parent of the year ...
1) watching the movie Frozen. Yes we are a little late to the party but my son is absolutely in love with Anna, Elsa, Olaf, Sven, and Kristoff.
This movie can be used when I need a moment to shower, make breakfast or dinner, or need him to go pee or poop before an outing.
2) gummy snacks. These little packets of gold have saved my life at soccer practice. Mason is given one gummy every time he listens to the coach. Our teachers at school have also said they are effective at getting the kids to clean up or do helpful tasks around the class.
Thankfully Costco sold me a box of 5,000 packets the other day.
And that's it. Those two tips have basically made my life a million times more tolerable while parenting Mason. It could be worse right?
Any other tips experienced parents have for wrangling their toddlers?
