It's all about balance

After spending most of my current pregnancy only eating foods that were considered carbs, I finally craved a salad for lunch.

I stopped by Crisp to create my salad ... Spring mix and spinach, cranberries, mandarin oranges, candied walnuts, crumbled blue cheese, and kalamata olives with an apple cider vinaigrette.



I must confess that I did stop by Krispy Kreme earlier today and bought a dozen assorted donuts.


Yes one is clearly already missing.

Life is all about balance ... Eating a donut (or 12) is ok as long as the rest of my meals are healthy. Not to mention I ran 4 miles this morning. So there conscience, ha.

Happy October! Can't believe Halloween is in 30 days!
