March running in review

March definitely had its highs and lows as a running month.  And no, those highs and lows weren't in reference to all of the hills that Charlotte has; although I do love a good pun.

I finally ran a race ... or two.  Both were long(er) distances: BB&T Corporate Cup half marathon on 3/8 and the rescheduled Charlotte 10 miler on 3/23.  I dealt with a lot of knee pain and tried to limit my running towards the 2nd and 3rd weeks of the month.

Running in March wasn't all bad though.  I managed to gain a new 10 miler PR and even placed 3rd in my age group.  Looking forward to April and sticking to some shorter races.
