on tuesday I ran 4.49 miles at 0 incline.

on thursday I ran 4.51 miles at 0.5 incline.

clearly yesterday's run was a lot harder due to the addition of the slight incline. I truly struggled as I ran those miles and even earned the respect of a fellow treadmill runner next to me. "Nice run, I can't believe you maintained that speed the entire time." Why thank you stranger.
I started thinking about the whole incline thing after reading one of Sarah's posts recently. (from her post) ... "try to run at a 1-2% incline to offset the lack of wind resistance and the perpetual motion/motor factor."
So I'm going to make an effort to run with the incline set at 0.5 (at least) or higher from now on. I also noticed that I've consolidated my runs this week ... usually I'll run 3 miles, 3 days in a row, but Mason and I have been a little busy this week during our usual gym time and have only made it twice, hence knocking out 4.5 miles each time. Same mileage, just a lot more efficient. High five to us. Or me cause we know Mason is just hanging out in daycare and isn't actually running any miles ... yet.
