A change of heart (legs?)

I headed to the YMCA with every intention of taking it easy today. My legs are still sore/tired from spinning and a 4 mile family run yesterday with Ryan and Mason.

I set the treadmill to 6.0 and figured I would run a slooooow 3 miles and call it a day.




Yeah I definitely picked up the pace once I got a good whiff of the smelly person next to me. "Must get out of here ASAP," I chanted to myself. Oh and the gym's music selection was definitely lacking today.

I knew I was going to miss a run tomorrow so I upped the mileage from 3 measly miles to 4 to help out my total for this week.

Mile 1 - 9:30
Mile 2 - 17:50 (8:20)
Mile 3 - 25:25 (7:35)
Mile 4 - 33:00 (7:35)

Mason hung out at the childcare center for 35 minutes and didn't freak out so that's encouraging for me to slowly work my way up to 45-60 minute workouts.
