Total mileage was a little over 1 mile and man was I slooooow. I stuck to running on the street and shunned any sidewalks. I also tried to stay as focused as possible. Baby steps right? 5 mile race in 9 days = scary.
Earlier today I had a doctors appointment and got a custom fit splint. Recovery seems long and hard, complete with weekly physical therapy sessions.
