so I haven't done a Mason update in a while ... and this post is definitely worthy!
He rolled over! He's actually rolled over a bunch of times in the past hour or so. He's quite the little rolling over machine now. He had been so close the past couple of days but finally got the extra oomph he needed.
Ok sorry, but I'm such a proud mom right now that I can't contain myself. Plus I know friends and family who read this blog might enjoy finding out what Mason has been up to lately.
My only concern now is that we should no longer swaddle him for bed (based on what I've read about rolling over and swaddling). He hasn't slept in his crib at night without his swaddle so I'm a little worried that it'll take him a while to get used to just sleeping on his back without being tied up like a little mummy --- whoa run-on sentence.
He does well with sleeping on his stomach during naps in his crib so I might try that one night this week. While on the naps subject, Mason has decided that he no longer needs lengthy naps and keeps them around 20-40 minutes now. Sigh. Such a little monster lately! And of course I mean that in the best way possible ... monster is a term of endearment in the Chalmers household.
