today marked my 500th mile this year! After running 5 miles on Tuesday, I knew I only had 2 more miles to go until I reached the big 5 - 0 - 0. Even though I was super tired today I laced up my sneakers and ran around my neighborhood for a couple of miles.
19 minutes later I had run 2.26 miles (8:24 pace). I'm glad one of my New Year's resolutions is now off the list. Maybe next year's running goal should be to run at least 600 miles ... gotta keep it interesting :)
