on Friday Ryan and I jetted off to Boston for the weekend. we left the 90 degree weather in Charlotte in favor of a much cooler 65 degrees. luckily I packed my trusty gray hoodie cause it definitely got chilly at night. our gracious hosts had a fun filled weekend for us planned, complete with a Red Sox game at Fenway Park, a tour through the Sam Adams brewery, as well as a traditional italian meal in the North End. although I'm exhausted, I'm glad Ryan and I were able to sneak off for a mini vacation. here is our trip through pictures:

although I had a brief hiatus from running, I definitely did NOT give my feet a break while in Boston. We probably walked close to 12 miles (if not more) during the 3 days, 2 nights we were in town. I'm looking forward to getting a run done later today, as long as the rain holds off ...
