MIA monday

I didn't want to blog yesterday.  I was angry at myself for hurting my ankle during Saturday's run.  I knew I had to stay off my foot for a couple of days and since this is a running based blog I figured there wasn't anything relevant to discuss.

oh and I was mad.  did I mention that already? 

I couldn't take the day off completely though ... that would be too smart of me.  During my lunch break yesterday I headed to the YMCA to do some work on the elliptical (which I hate by the way). 
  • 20:45 minutes - 2 miles
  • 1st 10 minutes, crossramp was at 10, resistance at 5
  • 2nd 10 minutes, crossramp was at 7, resistance at 5
After a brief cardiovascular stint, I headed over to the free weights to work out my shoulders.  I find it amusing that I rarely do weight training nowadays, but when I do, I always manage to go back to working out shoulders.  Oh well.
  • overhead press, using 5 lb weights, 2 sets of 15 reps 
  • front lateral raises, using 5 lb weights, 2 sets of 15 reps
  • side lateral raises, using 5 lb weights, 3 sets of 10 reps
And since I was anti blogging yesterday I didn't take any pictures to post.  I'll just post a picture of Honey since she always makes me happy.
