Today Honey and I slept in ... no 7:15am alarm clock was set since I didn't have to work until 12pm. Once she got her morning walk in, it was time for me to head off to the gym for a very uninspired run on the treadmill. It was day 4 of straight running and my legs were definitely feeling it. I managed to do a slow 3.31 miles in 30 minutes (29 minutes of running, 1 minute of walking cool down).
I had skipped breakfast and had a cup of coffee once I got back from the YMCA. After I got showered and got ready for work, I walked to the Dean & Deluca downtown and ordered some "Waldorf Chicken Salad." OMG. It was delicious! I'm getting hungry again and keep looking at the time to see if it's 3pm yet (end of shift). I'm sure a tasty and filling smoothie will be made within minutes of walking inside my apartment.
I'm looking forward to a rest day tomorrow in anticipation for the 5k on Friday night. Let's see if I can shave off a couple more seconds off my PR from 4/30.
