breakfast on the go

This morning I headed to the YMCA for an early morning work out.  I skipped running (wasn't in the mood) and used the seated bike instead. 
  • I cycled for 22 minutes and did 4.5 miles  
Next I headed to the weights area and worked out shoulders.  I hadn't done weights in so long, and it felt good to feel the burn.
  • 3 sets of 12 reps each - overhead shoulder press (5 lb weights)
  • 3 sets of 12 reps each - side lateral raises (5 lb weights)
I didn't have to go to the office until 9am so I used my extra time to walk over to Dean & Deluca's beforehand for a breakfast treat.  (PS we still haven't replenished our coffee supply at home)
I used the rest of my gift card and bought the largest iced chai latte they had and a protein bar.
Both were delicious and I'm definitely full.  I'll be heading to Trader Joe's during my lunch break so I'll finally stock up our house full of groceries.
