another run, another smoothie

The weather in Charlotte has been pretty gloomy lately.  Between bouts of rainfall and temperatures in the 50's, you would think we were living in Seattle or something.  Since I'm a big baby when it comes running in non-perfect weather I've hit up the treadmill at the YMCA the past 2 days.  Once again I went today during my lunch break and ran while watching the Food Network.  I ran 4.17 miles in 35 minutes (34:30 minutes of actual running, 30 seconds of walking as a cool down).

I wasn't really in the mood for any particular lunch item when I got home so I decided to make myself a smoothie.  I used 1/2 avocado, 1 banana, few ice cubes, 1/3 cup of vanilla soy milk, some vanilla protein powder, and the tiniest bit of vanilla extract.  The result was a creamy, dreamy, delicious dessert smoothie.

Gotta love my gigantic work phone in the background, along with my notepad of random stuff.  At least everyone knows I'm actually doing work once in awhile!
