I ate most of my peanut butter and raspberry jelly sandwich before I took this picture. I swear I can afford to have a whole sandwich every day for lunch.
**side note** there is a co-worker a couple of rows down who will not stop coughing! and it's not a cold cough ... it's like the "I have something caught in my throat but I'm too lazy to get any water so I'm just going to sit here and annoy everyone around me" cough. anyways ...
Along with my pb&j sandwich I had 1/2 serving size of mini Teddy Grahams "Honey" ... in cute little bear cub shapes hehehe.
- approx 24 of these little guys = 1/2 serving
- 1/2 serving size = 65 calories
I also had some Snyder's of Hanover "8 grains & seeds" pretzel sticks; 4 sticks to be exact
- approx 4 pretzel sticks = 1/2 serving
- 1/2 serving size = 54 calories
These pretzels are pretty tasty and have all sorts of yummy organic products ... whole wheat, oats, rye, barley, buckwheat, whole brown rice, whole corn, millet, flax seeds, sesame seeds, and quinoa.
It goes to show you that you can still have a fun lunch from your childhood while still being healthy!
