a little afternoon math

What do you get when you add the following ingredients:

  • fresh organic strawberries (first time I actually bought organic instead of regular ones ... they were on sale at Publix).  From The Daily Green - strawberries rank no. 3 on their list of the dirty dozen (foods with the highest pesticide residue)

  • Fage 0% plain Greek yogurt - at 120 calories, 20 grams of protein, and absolutely no fat per serving, these 6 oz. of yogurt really pack a nutritious punch

strawberries + yogurt = delicious afternoon snack!

Hopefully this treat will give me enough energy to power through a long run today after work.  Ryan left this morning for Richmond, Va and took the plyometrics DVD with him.  I'm looking forward to really pushing myself today to make up for the lack of cardio during the weekend.  Might be a treadmill day if the rain clouds make it over to downtown before I get a chance to run.
