I've noticed the more I want a delicious meal the more motivation I end up having to run. Yesterday was no different. I had plans with Katie to go to Shari Sushi at 6pm for a catch up session (we hadn't seen each other since the wedding) and of course for some happy hour deals on sushi. I decided to avoid the sweltering heat outdoors and just run indoors on the treadmill. I plowed through 2.5 miles in 25 minutes, with a 2 minute brisk walk as the warm up, 1 walking break for 1 minute after mile 1, and a 30 second cool down.
Katie and I had a good time at dinner. The conversation was good and the sushi was delicious. The red wine offered on their happy hour menu wasn't bad either.
3 days in a row of running ... is it safe to say I'm back in the running mode?
