Are you one of those people that hate Mondays? You know those people that write on their Facebook page status "I've got a case of the Mondays" and want people to empathize with them? Well I don't have anything against Mondays ... or any other day for that matter. My only concern with Mondays is finding the motivation to work out after having such a fun weekend.
Since my knee was bothering me I did 15:30 minutes on the elliptical (1.5 miles). I had worked out back on Saturday so it was time to do biceps. I did 3 exercises, 3 sets of each, with at least 12-15 reps. I think I might be ready to increase my weight from 5 pound dumbbells to 10 pound dumbbells. How exciting right? I finished off the workout with some calf raises and 100 crunches.
Ryan and I had some errands to run so we grabbed Honey and headed to the pet store to buy her some dog food. Next stop was the gas station. While I was filling up my gas tank we started to wonder what we would have for dinner since it was already 7:00pm and nothing had been made at home. So we ended up ordering a large, all veggie, thin crust pizza from Pizza Hut. It totally hit the spot and was delicious. Ryan and I had no problem finishing up the entire thing. It was his first day back at eating carbs. Not a bad reward for keeping up his silly diet for the full 2 weeks.
