So as this weekend comes to an end, it is safe to say I am skipping my Sunday work out. At least I got a good work out in on Saturday. One out of two ain't too shabby.
Saturday started off quite early. Ryan and I were at our breakfast spot around 8:30am. We finally made it out to Junior's Diner, a dive that I had been craving to try. I enjoyed 2 eggs over easy, some bacon, and a biscuit with sausage gravy. D E L I C I O U S. This diner proved to deliver very legit, greasy, diner food. Oh and it was cash only. Totally had to stop by the 7-11 beforehand for cash back.
After spending the rest of the morning running errands it was time for our next meal. I made Alex (our house guest for the weekend) and Ryan tuna on a bed of greens. Its one of my favorite salads to make since the tuna is made, not only with the usual mayo, but also chickpeas and some sweet relish. There wasn't a third salad made since I was eating my leftover macaroni and cheese from Cityfish.
Alex had brought some much needed motivation for the gym. I ran 3.25 miles in 29 minutes using 1.o and 0.5 inclines. Then I did 3 different back exercises, 3 sets each, and 100 crunches. As I worked out, all I could think about was the cheeseburger I was going to order from Houston's that night. Once at Houston's I deviated from the original cheeseburger plan and ordered one of the specials of the night - flat iron steak with fresh chimichurri sauce. Totally worth the last minute switch.
Yesterday's work out was enough to make me not physically want to do any sort of work out today. Sigh. At least there is always tomorrow.
