OMC and I realized that we only had 5 weeks left to get into shape for our honeymoon. Today was the first day of turning our lives around after eating poorly and not working out for over a week. After getting home from work we headed down to the gym to start our work outs. I decided to skip running today due to a nagging shin split type pain in my right leg. Rest was more important than possibly injuring it further.
I started the week working out back and biceps. I did 3 exercises for each body part, 3 sets of 10-12 reps. I even increased the weight during one set of bicep curls. I finished the work out with 125 crunches.
Dinner tonight was not a cheeseburger, and I probably won't be able to eat one of those for awhile. I made a salad, sauteed zucchini, squash, and tomatoes, and served it alongside a thin steak. It was quite tasty. Not sure what tomorrow night's healthy dinner will be. Of course I'm already worried about the next meal!
